The Marlborough Rugby touch group was in competitive action under the floodlights in the evening of on Monday 2 November 2026.
Facing a well-drilled squad from Swindon RFC - their touch rugby team are the Sharks - it was a fast-paced and breathtaking encounter. For the spectators, it was end-to-end stuff and really exciting to watch. There were tries a-plenty, but it was the Sharks that came out on top, nine scores to four. Well done to all who played, from both Clubs.
Our touch rugby group goes from strength to strength. It is a well-organised and disciplined element of our Club and is open to adults of all abilities. If you would like to join (or just come watch the training and matches), simply turn up to a session on a Monday evening on the artificial grass pitch at the St John's School. We will be delighted to see you!
