Peter Gordon who was one of the directors of Sunny Hill Dairy Farm Ltd  sponsored MRFC because he wanted publicity  to launch a direct dairy milk retail delivery service into the Marlborough Area.

( Peter sadly died and the sponsorship ended).

His company was Sunny Hill Farm Dairies Ltd.

This is a mark in Marlborough's history when they finally managed to beat local rivals Bassett.
