A short match report from Richard Purchase, the Club's vice-chair:
"The 1st XV travelled to Sidmouth and the start looked very promising, with Aka scoring a converted try after only four minutes, but shortly after we received a brace of yellow cards, which allowed Sidmouth to gain a foothold and they grew in confidence scoring fairly freely during the first half. In the second period we did stem the flow, but Sidmouth are well-drilled, have a solid defence, and a cohesive pack... so their score increased steadily. Shortly before the final whistle we did manage a 'forwards try' which was converted."
