With news from the RFU that there will be some sort of 7s this summer.
Marlborough RFC 7s team, Compeed Marlborough Nomads 7s are well underway into their planning for the season ahead.
After a successful club day last year and numerous combined training sessions at MRFC (all before Covid) we are very much looking forward to our 4 teams making an appearance this summer.
Both our Men’s Elite and Women’s Elite teams will be competing at the very highest level on the U.K. Super Series Leg. We will also be entering a number of other tournaments across the country with the men’s and women’s academy teams competing as well. We are very excited to have players from as young as 15 to 35+ years of age all pull on the jersey and represent CMN7s.
Whilst players have had a lot of time away from Rugby, all players have been remotely keeping themselves fit and injury free in preparation for the season ahead.
Whilst we are very much aware of the current climate and issues, we are very much excited to look ahead to see what maybe possible during an ease in Covid-19.
