On Sunday, thirty-three minis came armed to train with their prized carved pumpkins. There were different sizes, shapes, designs, and two were even as big as their carvers. One entrant had even grown their pumpkin from seed, which was amazing.

This was the third year of running the club’s annual pumpkin carving competition and probably the best one so far. Club sponsor, Compeed, again very kindly provided prizes for the best three pumpkins, which were vouchers for local toy shop, Ducklings.

Kate Evans (Compeed’s representative) had some hard decisions to make as the standard of carving was extremely high. Eventually, she managed to whittle them down to three. Very well done to:

1st prize – Harrison M.

2nd prize – Ollie H.

3rd prize – Selby S

I can’t wait until next Halloween to see what spooky creations the minis come up with next time. We hope you all had a happy Halloween.
